Imports of smart mobile
phones, vehicles and tea have increased in the country.
The import of smart mobile phones has increased by 90% from July
to September, phones worth 304 million dollars were imported in 3 months of the
current financial year.
In the same period last year, phones worth 160 million dollars
were imported. According to the report, cars worth 232.4 million dollars were
imported in 3 months, the import of cars increased by 123% from July to
September.
According to the report, the import of tea was recorded at 165.4
million dollars with an increase of 22%. In the first quarter of last year, tea
worth 135.2 million dollars was imported.
