5,000 arrests in two weeks, the number of Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli prisons exceeded 10,000
Israel arrested more than 5,000 Palestinians during the last two weeks, after which the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails exceeded 10,000.
Al Jazeera reported that before October 7, there were about
5,200 Palestinians in Israeli prisons. According to the Palestinian
authorities, the number of prisoners has increased to more than 10,000 since
the war was imposed on Gaza.

has arrested about 4,000 workers from Gaza and imprisoned them in military

Sahar Francis, head of the Ramallah-based Admir prisoners'
rights group, said the arrests were taking place 24 hours a day. Most of
the people from Gaza are being held at Sde Teyman, a military base near Be'er
al-Sabi (Beer Sheva) in the southern Negev desert, he said.
